Natural resource management regional boundaries - Queensland

This dataset shows the boundaries used in the natural resource management regional funding programs. They reflect the area covered by each of the regional NRM bodies of the Community and Government partnership responsible for protecting and managing Queensland's natural resources.

Explanation

No positional accuracy statements are attached to this file. The positional accuracy of the data is equivalent to that of the Digital Cadastral Database (DCDB) at the time of the extraction. There may be degradation of the positional accuracy in the translation to GIS formats.
Statement

The NRM Regional Bodies' Boundaries dataset is derived from the Local government Boundaries dataset, extracted from the Digital Cadastre Database. The data is extracted from the DCDB whenever there are significant changes to the NRM Regional Bodies’ boundaries. Each area shown on the data has two attributes, one being the Region name, and the other the name of the NRM body organisation.
Description

Based on 100000 catchment boundaries with additional boundaries coming from other sources eg cyplus.
